I Love The Internet
I love the Internet.
First thing this morning I was greeted by the postman with my Amazon delivery. I ordered Flatland for £1.25 and Flatterland for £6-something (recommended by my friend Julian). Lovely…. I’ve only ever read Flatland online. I started reading it to Mo this evening as his newest bedtime story. We’re 3 pages in.. he seems to think it’s funny so far…
I had a day *mainly* not online. Which was good. (it was, Roddy, honestly!)
Then after Mo went to bed I tried writing what I’m supposed to be writing (well *I* think i’m supposed to be writing it…), but am too burnt out from the last few weeks to focus. I also knew that I wouldn’t have much time so I started surfing (blahblahblah) went to Collective Detective for quite a while, signed up for the limited immersion version of Acheron, visited some of my favorite blogs and found a link to this and was utterly freaked out… yet amused in that weird I-net freak show way- why is it that in real life we steer clear from these people and fill our children with fear while warning them about people like this, but then flock to their websites by the millions?
Today I got a bunch of emails in reply to one I sent out yesterday suggesting people check their computers for Spyware… I found 36 spybots on my computer, but out of the replies the highest number found so far was 101 (you know who you are…*_*)
But I’m now going to turn off my dear computer, go upstairs, get ready for bed, put on my nice silk pyjamas and read Flatland… then…sleep….
Aaaahhhhhh….. *^_^*
NOTE: I’ve kept most of my early blog posts private.
