As usual we're a bit behind the times up here in Scotland so I've just seen the film. I only went to see how cool the Siver Surfer looked on the big screen and he DID look cool. The rest of the film was aimed at a "slightly"(ahem) younger audience than me! I thought Jessica Alba looked waaay too skinny though. Gia by the time of the next FF movie(4:3?) I think your son might be wanting to meet HER instead! :)

When I was in the cinema I saw the advert for the Peugot cabriolet coupe and had to look twice as I thought the girl in the car was Gia! Of course it wasn't but does anyone else see a resemblance? Or is just that my mid-life crisis is going to involve fantasising about hot tv presemters in cars? :)

Chris Evans was papped in yesterday's London Paper on the Tube and it said he was seen getting into a cab with a mystery woman. Was that a woman and child or just Gia?

I second that your son is the luckiest kid that I currently know of! Glad you enjoyed the movie, my step brother has already informed me that he's coming to the city to visit and that he's expecting me to take him to this.

He really is the luckiest kid!

I really didn't like the first Fantastic Four film. I don't really care for Jessica Alba... Obviously my only reason for watching it is Chris by way of Sunshine.

Actually, Chris *was* a lot slimmer than I remember him being. I almost didn't recognise him. But I wondered if it was maybe cos I've just seen his 40 foot head so many times over the past few months...

Rise of the Silver Surfer: if you liked the first one, you'll like this one. Though I though there should have been a bit more Thing and Johnny Storm in it. My son totally loved it - he really loved the first one (he wants to be Johnny Storm and think the Thing is HILarious). :)

The DVD release... I'll email you with the date. I'm not sure if I can announce it yet.

To be honest, looking at that photo, I'm not sure I'd recognise Chris Evans either! He looks a lot slimmer in that photo than I remember him from Sunshine..... (Talking of Sunshine, is there any news on the DVD release? I'm not allowed to put my work on my showreel until the DVD has been released....)

Are you allowed to say anything about the film itself? I never got around to seeing the first one - it's the kind of film I'll watch if it's on TV and I'm bored, but not something I'd go out of my way to see....
