Brian Cox For Dawkins’ Job
A couple people in the comments have said they think Brian should take over from Richard Dawkins when he retires this year. If you’re on Facebook, you can join the Brian Cox For Dawkins’ Job group. Not started be me incidentally.

I think it would be wonderful to have someone representing science where I not only agree with what they say, but entirely respect and admire the way in which they say it.
While I am glad we have the likes of Dawkins arguing in our corner, I think we also need scientists in the media who can be persuasive simply through their obvious passion for the subject.
Cool, I’ll join that group now!
My ideal replacement for Prof. Dawkins would be Brian Cox sharing the role with Ben Goldacre. The two are made of awesome.
:)
Ben would be crap for the job. He’d make a good prof of the geek understanding of science, though.
