He’s just so COOL and suave. I don’t know if you’ve seen coverage from the most recent debate this past Wednesday, but if I hadn’t been sure who I was voting for before, now I’d definitely know.

As Obama’s lead keeps growing in the polls, I find myself wishing I had never heard of the “Bradley effect” wherein those polled say one thing to pollsters but then let their bigotry vote on election day. I hope that doesn’t happen over here. I hope the polls are accurate. I believe Obama is our best hope for regaining sanity in this country and to start rebuilding some positive standing in the world.

Your willingness to back this man shows that you have no idea about where Obama came from or, you choose to ignore it. He is a socialist, if you think that’s what’s right for this country, you should move to one that embraces 50% taxes for subpar medical care, along with government control on the people and unbridled spending like you have never seen. Let’s not forget redistribution of hard earned money to people who have had less success in business. Do you really think that is fair? Have you heard of “trikle up poverty?” Who do you think is going to pay for all his grand ideas?, Excuse me you must be one of the people who pay little or no taxes. I had a discussion with a lady who said that she is voting for Obama because she thinks everyone should be paid the same no matter their job. I asked her what she does for a living; she said, “I work at a department store for 8 bucks an hour”. Clearly she thinks that if Obama is elected she will gain financially without any effort. But then again maybe we will ALL make eight dollars and hour and Obama and our fair government can keep our rainy day money “for your own good”. She didn’t consider that move. Don’t you see Obama is a say anything guy who is using underachievers or the guilt of overachievers so, once elected, he can open the door for the largest expansion of government ever seen in the free world. Not only will the stifle opportunity for success in the future, you will be giving up your freedom. Free healthcare, free college, free money……. In the end, the government does not produce anything, without taking taxes from you. Its easy to get caught up in the romantic idea of a grass roots upheaval because you think Obama is a grassroots candidate “for the people”, but he is really just for creating a government so large, that will provide you with so much “free stuff” (which he knows you will eventually not be able to live without) that we, as a people will be completely dependant on our corrupt government. At that point, you can kiss the free market system, freedom of choice, the ability to work hard to succeed and frankly democracy goodbye. Hello Karl Marx, if you think it isn’t true, you either have not done your homework, have an ulterior motive or drank the kool-aid. I’m afraid you will get just what you voted for. I’m sorry that I will have to suffer for your choice. Wake up and smell the government issued coffee. Isn’t everyone entitled to a good cup of coffee?

  • Observer Article -

Honestly, this isn't a blog just about Brian. That would be really weird... but... indulge me just a bit longer.

Some of you may have seen the article about Brian in the Observer today. Now, you guys are intelligent and realise that not everything you read in a newspaper is accurate. This was made absolutely clear to me this morning as I was sitting in my bathrobe, hair all over the place, barefoot, all coffee breath, unshowered and read, "he married his American wife, glamorous TV presenter Gia Milinovich, in secret." :-/

    Ah well...
