Gia!!! awww, lovely belly shot! Congratulations on the addition to the family. What a terrific and eventful year you had. I'm so glad to have been able to partake in some way (love the video!!!) and most definitely to have met you back in June beginning with the Phile dinner at Chevy's and then meeting up for the LA Film Fest.
May 2009 bring you more wonderful memories!

Just watched the Newsnight clip again (for the millionth time!) and it still makes me punch the air when your hubby says ' on this day of all days.....etc'. Go Brian! Inspiring stuff. You are rightly proud Gia!!

Could have done with him enthusing my class today when teaching my lot..... no matter how much I bounced around talking about momentum they were NOT having any of it (sigh!)

Hi lovely Gia, Happy New Year to you and Brian, and joy all round especially for your son and new baby. Congratulations!

I just finished watching Big Bang Machine on the iPlayer:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00dccnr/The_Big_Bang_Machine

Fascinating and brilliantly presented by Brian, as always. I hope you continue to blog about all the developments at CERN, though it looks like it's going to be an eventful year for you again in 2009. Exciting!

Hoping you have your happiest year yet. :)

Above comment by me is edited to add: Just found out via google that 'E' and 'DDD' are equivalent--duh.

Goes to show how much I know about bra sizing; anything above a C cup is unknown territory for me. I'm not exactly what one would call 'busty'.

*36E*?? Well, if history repeats itself, I'm sure your husband will be pleased. ;) My mom went up to a DD when breastfeeding me.

My friend's wife used to be a 36DDD; she's a lot less now that she had breast reduction surgery, but she's still huge, compared to the rest of her. I don't know how she managed before--I don't think many companies make bras that big.

Thank you, lovely Campbell! I'm swelling all over. I bought a non-wired bra right after I found out I was pregnant (wired bras are waaaaay too painful) and I've grown out of it already.

When I was breastfeeding my son I was a 36E at my largest. 8-0 They were bigger than my son's head!
