Video Experiment

I had an idea for something last week and wanted to try it. This is my first go and it hasn’t quite worked in the way I was expecting, but there are some interesting things in it that I can use. It’s a time lapse of clip from the film Annihilation made up of photos taken with a macro lens on my computer screen and then re-photographed three more times with a macro lens. It was done by hand – no tripod or elaborate set-up – and I grabbed an image every 1/4 to 1 second. It’s far too ‘jumpy’ for what I want, but I LOVE the texture of it.
